Quilter Financial Planning appoints new chair

Follows Gregor Stewart’s retirement

Quilter Financial Planning has appointed former Ignis Asset Management CEO Christopher Samuel as chair, following the retirement of Gregor Stewart.

Samuel has worked for 40 years in financial services and is current chair of BlackRock Throgmorton Trust and JP Morgan Japanese Investment Trust. He also serves as a non-executive director of investment firms Alliance Trust, Sarasin & Partners and UIL Limited. Samuel said he was delighted to be taking on the chairmanship of Quilter "at this exciting point in its growth and development".
