Advice day - the first working Monday of the year - this year fell on 9 January. It is traditionally a busy year for financial advice. But was it especially busy this year? Adviser directory Unbiased said it had experienced the biggest surge it had ever seen in a New Year period, with almost two thirds (57%) more consumers searching for advice than last year. It suggested economic uncertainty and regulation changes have prompted the increase. Do advisers agree?  We spoke to a few to see if they have had a similar experience...
