Prudential has topped the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) list of the most complained about pension firms, as the number of grievances raised about retirement products jumps 20%.
The life company giant was complained about 8,827 times between January and June 2015. Of those, a significant majority of 62% were upheld by the firm in favour of the customer. Friends Life took second place for most complained about, with 7,013 complaints raised against it during the first six months of the year, half of which were upheld. Royal London came in a third with 5,688 new complaints, of which over a third were upheld in favour of the customer.
