DALTON Strategic Partnership's Japanese fund manager Robert White is set to leave the company later this year.
White, who was lead manager on the Melchior Japan Trust and Melchior Japan Opportunities funds, worked in conjunction with the FuNNeX Asset Management team in Tokyo on the funds and oversaw the management of the offerings. However, all the stock picking decisions were taken by the portfolio manager, FuNNeX’s founder Ken Nishizawi, and White has now taken the decision to move on.
