Threadneedle launches China Opps fund

THREADNEEDLE Investments has strengthened its Far East and Asian equity range by launching the Threadneedle China Opportunities fund.

Gigi Chan, China market specialist and fund manager will lead the portfolio team, with support from Jan de Brujin as deputy fund manager. The team will employ three main themes in its investment approach: domestic consumption, urbanisation and infrastructure spending. Threadneedle said this thematic approach will create a flexible portfolio which captures the dynamic growth across the Chinese market cap range.
