SNP targets 'unfair, hidden' pension fees in manifesto

Eliminating "hidden" pension charges will be a target for the Scottish National Party (SNP) following next month's general election, it has pledged in its manifesto.

The party said it backed the existing coalition's move to give people aged over 55 more flexibility over how they can access their retirement savings "in principle", but added there must be "adequate levels of advice and support". It said it would work with "pensioner groups" to "identify and target unfair, hidden pension charges".
