Early access to pensions has been a hot topic this year. Mike Morrison looks at the pros and cons

Back in July I wrote an article about early access to pension money and suggested that it could well be on the Coalition agenda for the future. Well, lo and behold, as we come to the end of the year, it raises its head again with the promise of a consultation paper, perhaps even before Christmas. I will highlight some of the salient points from that original article. In the UK there have been a number of reports into this subject.
