There are examples of nascent or obsolete technologies all around us. Some are ridiculed (think Sinclair C5), while others are lovingly preserved (anything that runs on steam). For each of these there is a pivotal moment when a technology gets an edge or is overtaken by events. It seems to me that we might be at that point with financial data and the pension dashboard.
