The Conservative party has been accused of deliberately misleading the public over home information packs (Hip) and of using their introduction to the housing market next summer as a political football.
The Association of Home Information Pack Providers (Ahipp) has launched a scathing attack on the Conservatives accusing them of using “vacuous and misinformed celebrities” with their own agenda and businesses selling property that would not benefit from a more transparent buying and selling process. The attack follows the launch yesterday by the Conservative party of a national campaign against the government's plans for Hips.
