Former CSAM chief exec launches asset manager

An asset management company is set to launch offering low cost passive investment solutions to IFAs.

TCF Fund Managers, headed up by former Credit Suisse Asset Management (UK) CEO David Norman and Folio Partners' founder Gary Mairs, offers a low-cost multi-asset portfolio management service by investing in passive vehicles such as ETFs. The company, which launches on today, will also offer its own range of funds later in the year. Its portfolio service either takes an adviser's own asset allocation model or works with them to build a bespoke model. Investment will then be made into ETFs, passive mutual funds or futures.
