RWC Partners pushes into IFA space

RWC Partners has hired John Bennett from JP Morgan Asset Management to lead its marketing to IFAs.

The company is better known for its hedge fund expertise, but is now pushing into the retail market and says intermediaries are "a key focus for the business in its current expansion phase". Bennett worked at JPMorgan Asset Management for 15 years, including as its head of UK sales. Chief executive Peter Harrison says: "The UK is a critical market for us, currently accounting for approximately 40% of the assets our Ucits III RWC Convertible Bond fund and RWC US Absolute Alpha funds.
