Fidelity's Sam Morse is taking over management of the group's European Values trust, replacing Sudipto Banerji.
Morse, who took over the £3bn Fidelity European fund from Tim McCarron at the beginning of the year, will replace Banerji on the £530m trust from 1 January. The board says it has watched Morse's progress in transferring his approach from the management of UK equities to the Fidelity European fund and is now confident of aligning the management of the two vehicles. This mirrors the management responsibilities during the tenures of both Anthony Bolton (1991-2001) and McCarron (2001-2008).
