Paraplanner award opens for entries

The Institute of Financial Planning's (IFP) Paraplanner of the Year award has opened for this year's entries.

Run by the IFP for the first time this year, the award will be presented at the institute's conference in October. The IFP is taking applications from all UK-based paraplanners, even those that are not IFP members, until 6 September. To be in the running for the prizes worth £3000, including a £1000 cash prize, applicants must complete a technical questionnaire and submit a 1000 word essay, alongside a testimonial from an adviser or planner with whom they have worked, explaining why they deserve to win.
