Walker Crips Group has reported a boost to revenues over the last quarter, and says it expects its new recruits will continue to drive future growth.
Over the quarter to 30 June 2014, the wealth manager and stockbroker reported a 12.2% rise in net revenues to £3.6m. Net fees across the group accounted for most of this increase, rising 20%, the firm said. Discretionary and advisory assets under management at 30 June 2014 were up 3% since March 2014 and 28% since the previous year to £1.37bn. Over the reporting period, Walker Crips appointed a new team of seven investment managers, which it expects will contribute to revenues in future quarters.
