The business plan for 2016/17 announced the 'regulatory sandbox' would be launched this spring and emphasises the importance of technology to the future of financial services.   The sandbox aims to foster new ways of helping firms of all sizes develop novel ideas for market by reducing the regulatory burden for products brought to market.
