Fidelity International has begun searching for a new CIO of fixed income as the group announces the retirement of Charles McKenzie at the end of the year.
McKenzie joined Fidelity in 2014 as head of European portfolio management within fixed income and was appointed as CIO in January 2016. Prior to joining Fidelity, he worked as head of client portfolio management EMEA, on the global fixed income desk at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He also worked as head of fixed income, EMEA, for Aberdeen Asset Management and as head of UK fixed income at Deutsche Asset Management.
