Universal credit, the social security payment designed to simplify benefits and incentivise paid work has now been rolled out to all working age welfare claimants in the UK, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed.
But, according to Scottish Widows financial protection technical & industry affairs manager Johnny Timpson, Wednesday's announcement by the DWP will have been missed by many amid Brexit and Tory leadership news.
