Investec hires JPM's James Elliot as head of multi-asset

James Elliot, who left his role as CIO of multi-asset at J. P. Morgan Asset Management last month, will join Investec Asset Management as its new head of multi-asset in July.

Elliot (pictured) will head the group's multi-asset team from July, where he will oversee all existing investment solutions and the addition of new strategies. He will report to Domenico Ferrini, co-CEO, Investec Asset Management. The team will continue to focus on delivering high quality, outcome-oriented investment solutions for its international client base.  The manager joins from JPMAM, where he led the development of the firm's international multi-asset solutions business and co-managed its £1.5bn Global Macro Opportunities fund.
