IWP snaps up first Scottish firm in seventh acquisition

Now more than £2bn in client assets

Growing consolidator Independent Wealth Partners (IWP) has acquired Scottish financial planning firm AGL Wealth Management.

With two offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, the acquisition of AGL marked IWP's seventh acquisition and saw the firm cross the £2bn line in client assets. The AGL team moving to IWP includes five wealth management and financial planning advisers who administer £100m in assets under management.  IWP CEO David Inglesfield (pictured) said: "We're very pleased that AGL Wealth Management is the first Scottish wealth planning firm to join IWP."
