Phoenix Group has become a signatory of the UN-supported Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI).
The long-term savings and retirement business said the move demonstrated its commitment to including environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in "investment decision making and ownership". It added that Phoenix was the largest UK asset owner signatory in the country. The group pledged to sign up to the principles as part of its Sustainability Report published in March.
