Transact and Aviva came out top of the pile for platform net sales of 2020, according to research by platform and investment consultancy Fundscape.
Transact added £3.47bn in net sales to its adviser platform in the last calendar year, trailed closely by Aviva's adviser proposition, which also added £3,47bn but, according to Fundscape, was £3m down on its AIM-listed rival. AJ Bell added £3bn to its adviser platform books through net sales in 2020, followed by True Potential (£2.98bn) and Fidelity Fundsnetwork (£2.61bn). The latter was one of the big improvers in 2020, growing net sales across its combined adviser and D2C channels by 81% year-on-year.
