Almost all (86%) UK investors would put money into crypto assets if their traditional finance provider offered an opportunity, Avaloq says.
The software provider conducted a survey of 3,000 investors which showed crypto assets are continuing to increase in popularity despite economic uncertainty. Almost a third (29%) of high net worth individuals in the UK hold crypto assets - a seven percentage point increase on 2022 figures. A total 38% of these hold crypto assets via a wealth manager. For the 71% of UK investors who do not already own crypto assets, the research noted the main reasons for not doing so are concerns about volatility (35%), a lack of trust in crypto exchanges (31%) and not knowing where to start (28%). ...
