This week’s column is going to be a little different to our usual offering, as the time has come for me to say goodbye.

After two years as editor of Professional Adviser and five years with our parent company, Incisive Media, I am returning to Australia. I have spent seven wonderful, eventful and thrilling years working at London news desks, almost all of them covering the financial advice sector. In my time at PA alone, I've been through five chancellors, four prime ministers, two monarchs, two governing parties, a cost-of-living crisis, Trussonomics and the subsequent economic crash, and a recession.
