When the new Consumer Duty lands, on 31 July, it will have a seismic impact on our industry, writes Tim Sargisson. Is your advice practice ready?

The heading is from a recent Royal London report published earlier in May. As the report highlights, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is putting the finishing touches on its new Consumer Duty. The FCA has said that the final rules and guidance will deliver a 'fundamental shift' in its approach to regulation and that these final rules and guidance are expected by 31 July 2022.
