Seven advice firms have been declared in default by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
Its latest list of defaults included Yorkshire-based Lampott (Financial Services); Harpenden-based firm Bluegrove Wealth Management and investment outfit Graham R Gomm, located in the West Midlands. A total of 14 firms were on the list, with half coming from the advice industry. The FSCS said it had started paying compensation in respect of the defaulted firms.
