Pension transfer values remained stable throughout July, with the index finishing the month where it started, according to XPS Pension Group's transfer value index (TVI).
The index stood at £233,000 both at the end of June and the end of July. The difference between the maximum and minimum readings of the TVI over the month was £3,200, or about 1.4%. Transfer values as measured by the index were stable during the first half of the year, during which the index only fluctuated by £8,300, or 3.6%.
