Question: Has any decision been made about the affect of auto-enrolment on individuals with 'Enhanced Protection'?

Edmund Downes, Norwich Union: Individuals with Enhanced Protection are not exempt from auto-enrolment, but should they opt out they will be treated as if they have never joined, thus their protection can be maintained. It will not be possible for them to tell their employers in advance not to auto-enroll them - they will have to go through the opt-out process, potentially repeated every three years.
