OMGI rebrands multi-asset Spectrum range amid raft of changes

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) is rebranding its multi-asset Spectrum range as the Old Mutual Creation Portfolios, as well as adding a new Adventurous portfolio and providing manager Anthony Gillham with greater flexibility.

The new suite will have a wider range of possible exposures to direct equity and fixed income holdings, and the use of derivatives will be extended. In addition, the holdings within the risk-targeted portfolios will be limited to funds from a "select group" of third party investment managers and the best OMGI funds. These will be chosen following a "rigorous research process based on the partners having a strong competitive edge in their respective asset class or market and their ability to offer value for money".
