Interest in green commodities boosts Asian market prospects

Asia is recognising the need to be more environmentally-friendly, a trend which is presenting attractive investment opportunities in the region. Peter Dalgiesh, manager of the Pacific Assets Trust at F&C Investments, highlights the shift to alternative energy. He says: "The prices of soft commodities have risen significantly, compounded by rising competition between food and fuel.
