I strolled into a garage at the weekend to look at trading-in the family saloon.

I checked out the size and the performance figures, and considered the fuel consumption, especially considering the number of miles I get under my belt each year. The salesman was very convincing but I remained unsure. The salesman was disappointed that I did not make a decision there and then, as I said I would go home and discuss it with the family.
