In some ways, QROPS have been the naughty teenager of the pension world. They have absorbed a great deal of attention, and some say, harsh measures to bring them into line, from HMRC. Added to that, their jurisdictions have changed regularly, over the past few years. But now it seems as if QROPS have finally grown up. Skandia recently polled a small sample of international advisers - and found that 40% of them intend to increase the amount of QROPS business they write over the coming 12 months.
