According to a recent report produced by Oxford Economics and sponsored by Just Retirement, equity release could lift one million pensioner households out of poverty for a year between 2012 and 2040. The report titled The impact of equity release on pensioner income and the wider economy was launched at an event where delegates discussed the pros and cons of equity release and what impact it could have on retirement income.
