Child Trust Funds The Telegraph gave readers with ‘obsolete' Child Trust Funds (CTFs) the good news that they will be able to switch them into a Junior ISA from April. The report said CTFs were introduced in 2002, giving all new parents a £250 voucher to invest in a tax-friendly savings or investment plan. Families with low earnings were handed £500, it added. However, it explained these CTFs have since been superseded by Junior Isas.
