Which? report - Public ‘confused' by state pension changes A number of news outlets, including this BBC article, covered a new report from consumer group Which? that has highlighted how many people remain confused by changes to the state pension, which come into force this week. The new single-tier state pension will apply to everyone who retires from 6 April 2016, yet almost half the 1,000 50 to 64-year-olds surveyed for the report said they did not know what the new rate would be.
