Throughout the past dozen years since the Global Financial Crisis, investor money has been flooding into funds that combine stocks, bonds and other asset classes. Figures from the Investment Association show money invested in Mixed Asset funds has more than doubled since 2011, rising from £113bn to £275bn by 2020.
