On average, women earn 82 cents compared to every dollar men earn globally, as detailed by a report from Statista between 2015 and 2020. The gender pay gap in Western Europe is 22.4%, compared to a 15.4% pay gap in the UK, with the data suggesting the average UK annual full-time earnings for women on average is £28,305.
