Pearce began her career as a part-time mortgage-adviser at Leeds Building Society and latterly became a compliance consultant. She progressed to become a financial planner and then held compliance roles at Barclays, Tenet, Brown Shipley, Threesixty, Towry, Equilibrium Asset Management and RGP.
