Pictect Asset Management senior product specialist for thematic equities Dr Steve Freedman has advised to adopt a cradle to grave perspective when picking suitable and ethical companies to invest in.
Presenting at Professional Adviser's ESG Masterclass event on Tuesday morning (27 October), Freedman spoke about what to consider when choosing companies to invest in that are sustainable. He said Pictet considers information from the Planetary Boundaries Framework, a Stockholm-based research initiative which presents a set of nine planetary boundaries within which humanity can continue to develop.
