GAM investment director Ross Hollyman is to apply his systematic value approach to European stocks in the latest fund launch from the company. The GAM Star European Systematic Value uses quantitative techniques to select individual securities on a bottom-up basis. The fund has a large and mid-cap focus and concentrates on out of favour stocks. Hollyman said: "We have seen a lot of interesting restructuring going on in European companies.
