An international survey which last year named Singapore as the best lifestyle destination for expatriates is set to return in 2009.
HSBC Bank International's Expat Explorer study examines the lives of people living and working abroad. Last year's survey found Singapore, the UAE and USA were deemed the best locations based on lifestyle and work to become an expat while those in Brazil, Ireland and Australia were the wealthiest. Germany, Canada and Spain were voted the easiest countries for expats to integrate into while expats from Hong Kong were most likely to make friends with other expats.
