T. Rowe Price International (TRPI) has appointed Chris Alderson to take over as president and CEO of the firm in a long-planned transition following the retirement of David Warren after 28 years service at TRPI. Alderson has worked with Warren at the firm for 22 years and has led its Global Emerging Markets Equity investment strategies since 1997. Gonzalo Pangaro has taken over this role. Baring Asset Management has hired Jonathan Greenhill as head of Japan Equities. He will report to head of equities, Tim Scholefield.
