Asian asset management company Mirae Asset Global Investors is planning to launch nine emerging market Sicav funds focusing on the Asia-Pacific region.
The funds will be domiciled in Luxembourg and managed by the same local portfolio managers as the company’s existing Korea-domiciled funds, which they will mirror. The new Sicav range will aim to provide long-term capital appreciation by focusing on bottom-up analysis and high-conviction, alpha-generating stock ideas.
