The Treasury Department of the Isle of Man is preparing for a full roll-out of online services which will help advisers and companies "interact with the income tax system".
Following a pilot rollout of “enquiry access” which allows tax agents and companies to register and view records online, over the next few months the Treasury says the service will be extended to allow people to “transact” by submitting tax returns online for themselves and their clients. Malcolm Couch, assessor of income tax, says: “We are developing and delivering systems that will ultimately make it easier for people, companies and professional advisers to interact with the income tax system."
