Treasury Committee to quiz senior housing market figures

The Treasury Select Committee is to hold a hearing on the economics of the housing market.

The Committee, headed by John McFall MP, has invited senior figures from the housing and mortgage industry to discuss how the markets function and where they are headed. Guests include Fionnuala Earley, chief economist at Nationwide, Bob Pannell, head of research at the Council of Mortgage Lenders, and Simon Rubinsohn, chief economist at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
