General insurance service targets mortgage intermediaries

Mortgage intermediary support services provider Paymentcare has launched a new service that allows intermediaries to offload the burden of finding suitable general insurance products for clients, such as MPPI, ASU and buildings and contents insurance.

Advantagequote.co.uk” is meant to allow advisers to focus on mortgage, life and investments – which are more lucrative for intermediary businesses – while ensuring clients are not forced to take up the next-bset offers from lenders. The service works by accepting client referrals from advisers, while the quotes are delivered directly to the client. There is no charge to advisers to use the service, and successful referrals guarantee a 20% commission on policies effected.
