City Financial acquires Husselbee's Neptune funds

City Financial has acquired the John Husselbee managed Neptune Multi-Manager Growth and Income funds.

Approved by the FSA on Monday, the funds will be transferred to City Financial and re-branded on 21 December. Husselbee already manages City Financial's Diversified Absolute Return fund and the UK Select Alpha fund. City Financial's managing director Andrew Williams says Husselbee is a “godfather” of the UK multi-manager sector. “We have been a big fan of John’s work for a long time and are delighted to have the opportunity to work with him,” Williams says. “Most of all we are really pleased to be able to keep the continuity of the fund management in place and build on our multi-manage...
