Wastcoat resigns as Fidelity UK retail head

Fidelity UK retail boss Richard Wastcoat will step down at the end of the month.

Wastcoat will continue at the company working on “special projects” until the end of the year, before taking a six month sabbatical to contemplate his future plans. He has been at Fidelity for 24 years and at the helm of UK business for almost the last decade. During this time, Fidelity has introduced its FundsNetwork platform and as well as launching its £2bn Indian operations.
