Abbey seeks new partners with appointment

Gary Dale is joining Abbey Financial Markets to head up the business development of its UK distribution channels.

Reporting to Trevor Taylor, who is head of business development for Europe, Dale will be head of business development for Abbey's UK and offshore IFA, private banking and ‘partnership’ channels, and charged with building new “distribution links through life and pensions partners as well as other intermediated channels”. He was previously investment development manager at Prudential, as well as spending time at Norwich Union International and Axa. His appointment is just days after the group confirmed it will sell its life operations to Resolution Asset Management. IFAonline
