TCF acid test for advisers launched

A TCF acid test for financial advisers has been launched by technology solutions provider 1st The Exchange.

The service involves a visit to the adviser’s offices before the production of a report which uses a traffic light colour-coded system to identify any business areas 1st sees as falling short of TCF principles. It follows research conducted by 1st The Exchange earlier in 2008 which suggested around half of the adviser population was ‘confused and uncertain’ over how to evidence TCF in time for December’s deadline.
