BlackRock adds seven to European team

BlackRock has hired seven people to join its European Equity Style Diversified team, led by Nigel Bolton.

The new team members previously worked at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) as part of its European team, which used to be run by Bolton. The team will be responsible for total European equity assets under management of around $14.7bn. As a result of the move, Nigel Bolton will manage the MLIIF European and MLIIF European Focus funds. He will co-manage the European Growth fund with Michael Constantis.
